Tenants of Lewes District

Tenants of Lewes District (TOLD) is a non-political group of volunteers, who are elected representatives from the District-wide Tenants and Residents Associations (TRA’s) and any other individual tenant who requests membership when attending a TOLD meeting. TOLD is consulted by the Council prior to new policies being implemented or before service changes in Housing Services.

Nevill Good Neighbours

The Nevill Residents Good Neighbour Scheme has been running since 2017 to provide voluntary, neighbourly help for residents of the Nevill estate. All help is free, unless expenses such as car mileage, parking, etc have been incurred.

Nevill 2030

Nevill 2030 is a group of residents in the Nevill estate in Lewes concerned about the climate emergency and loss of biodiversity. We share ideas for actions that we can take locally.

Neighbourhood watch

On the Nevill. Estate, there are currently two verified Neighbourhood Watch schemes. One on Highdown and the other parts of Hawkenbury Way and South Way. There is also a trained team of Community Speedwatch volunteers.

Nevill Juvenile Bonfire Society

Nevill Juvenile is the only juvenile bonfire society, although we welcome members of all ages. The Society was started by a group of young friends and, at its heart, continues to encourage younger members to participate in all aspects of the Society. From taking part in the processions to helping out with torch-making, set pieces, building the effigy and tableau.
